There is currently a large amount of exaggerated negative articles about the teenage culture in the media, especially newspapers. This issue supports and creates stereotypes about teenagers that lead to teens being wrongly accused and discriminated against in public. This bad image causes others, mainly those who are not regularly around teenagers, to overlook the positive activities that teens are apart of and do not give cedit where credit is due because they buy into the media hype. This petition is an attempt to get the Evening Telegraph's attention to this issue and try and get them to publish more articles about the positive activities teens participate in to balance out the exaggerated amount of criticism. If you would like to support this cause then just sign the petition with your details, details that will be kept confidentially.
