As a current texan, I have hated the way we spell it for many years. It have never made sense to me. So i love this idea. Think of the possibilities! Tecksas Rangers, Tecksas Longhorns, the possibilities are endless.

Hello my names is Naomi Hollifield, and I'm from Grapevine,Texas. This sounds a little bit silly, but I understand your reasoning. Not only is it going to take a petition but a full scale investigation, government approval, and sited signatures, and that's something that I would like to see happen. So Tecksas? why not?!

As a former English teacher, I totally agree with this. People pronounce it Tex-As, and that's wrong. Let's make it so people could understand and accurately pronounce the beautiful, great, state of Tecksas
