Technology is a serious driver now and is accelerating. All facets of our business and personal worlds will be touched by advancing technology. WHERE? It will be on ourselves, in our homes, business activities, materials and services and how they are made and delivered to us. Whether it be sensors or integration with bio chemical industries, there are huge economic opportunities to be won. BUT? How to ensure that these opportunities are acted upon to benefit the economic growth of Hong Kong?? I believe that a Technology Bureau tasked with setting direction and coordinating with all parts of Government is the only answer.
