As a construction professional, I am sympathetic to this motion. Having involved in 5 data centre developments in Hong Kong, I realize the need to establish an independent Bureau that can offer expert advice to the departments involved in vetting development submissions. The knowledge gap is widening between the private and public sector and this will only stifle the development of data centre and promulgation of IT usage in Hong Kong.
