The more you are motivated and the more creative you try to be, to address the NEEDS of the students first, then facilitate their learning, the more criticised from all stakeholders and unappreciated (although I do not need credit from others) you will be... Trying to think outside the box in Malta's schools is impossible as this would cease the current out of date actual practised education system (not the ones which are suggested and advertised). How far better to sit relax in one's comfort zone!!!

I didn't think others felt the same way! It's already difficult after 15 years so yes I do agree with this measure and it helps me believe my profession is important for the future of my country.

Very good solution for teachers, KGA's and LSA's. Students need young, energetic and vanguard teachers, not 60+ year old individuals who are way too old and exhausted to keep up with children's and youngsters' needs and dreams.

Teaching is a beautiful but tough profession! We need more appreciation for the work we do to educate kids. Conditions of work are hard and 25 years of teaching is v. Challenging.

I agree fully. It's especially important for those teachers who never stopped serving for whatever reason.
