Important to stand together on such a vital priority as truly child-centred educational policy

Those with true experience of successfully teaching and educating should be able to make professional judgements and not have to respond to the whims of politicians who have little or no knowledge about learning and teaching in state schools

Because the future of our children should be guided by experts, not ignorant, blindly populist politicians, bent on turning our schools into grade factories without any consideration for the whole child. @TheDramaArmy supports Teacher Roar.

teacherROAR is a source of inspiration and hope for me, an experienced teacher. The parents who signed this pledge deserve the best for their children.

Teachers should be teachers, not exam coaches. Gove's ideas are dangerous and damaging for the vast majority of pupils and I believe are a front to catastrophically belittle the teaching profession in order to privatise education! Ge must be stopped!

I want an education system where the child takes precedence over curriculum, tests and politics, where teachers are valued and every child is helped to reach his/her potential.

Time to stop running teachers down and actually listen to them.

I totally agree education should not be a political football & a cross party education committee should make decisions based on research & well documented casestudies
