Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The district needs to be held accountable for it's actions...their budget cuts and unfair treatment to teachers are negatively affecting students, teachers, parents, and the whole community.

One of my family member's is a teacher in the Hazelwood School District. The board members need to realize the teachers try hard to educate children properly, but all the suppressive regulations the board initiates actually harms the students education. These poor teachers are constantly bombarded with these ridiculous regulations that are only to help the board members, and not the students nor the teachers. Teachers in the Hazelwood School DIstrict don't have a nine to five job. They work all day trying to better their students. I am not trying to say board members don't work hard, but they also get paid RIDICULOUS amounts to do a job while teachers get paid close to nothing. Teachers also have to deal with students face to face which most board members haven't done for years, and let me tell you....... students have gotten more difficult to get motivated with cell phones in their faces twenty-four-seven. I beg everyone to raise up and help our deserving teachers a fair work load and pay. Not only will the teachers be affected by these new regulations, but the students will also have to deal with less motivated and tired teachers. People, I beg, please help these amazing teachers.

I don't go to this school but I have been hearing about this over instagram. I personally want to be a teacher and hear this stuff just makes me really mad. Teachers are the ones who teach doctors how to save someones life.

This is not fair that, the board expect the teachers to work more hours without pay!! You guys must pay teachers for their hard work and dedication of putting up with students!!

Treat the men and women who make us who we are better. Without these people there wouldn't be doctors, lawyers etc. They're the start to these successful people Careers and they need to be appreciated and treated fairly

The issue is that we are losing our teachers because they do not feel appreciated. What we are asking, the students, is that we should not have to suffer because the board of education don't want to agree with the teachers needs. It becomes our issue when we are losing teachers that are actually dedicated to their students.

I believe that teacher should get raises for they're dedication to their jobs because it's important and we do not need to lose our teachers because we need experienced teachers to know how to teach the right things to the kids that need it which is all of us as Students in the Hazelwood School District.
