Florida temperatures can be harsh . And being so close to hundreds of other people is putting many lives in danger . Evening ceremonies would reduce a lot of unneeded stress and health issues for sure

Yes the heat was horrible, I know the our class ('15) was miserable most of the graduation... I was praying for it to end its ridiculous! We couldn't even enjoy that proud moment in our lives.

Taylor County High School students are doing our research. We have students looking at weather patterns and statistics. We are the only school in the surrounding areas that have a morning graduation, in the afternoon the temperature is much cooler and more people can attend without fear of heat injuries.

I have sat through two grueling hot graduations. To say it was miserable is an understatement. You are so wiped out after sitting there for hours the last thing you want to do is take pictures. Not to mention everyone looks a hot mess literally by the time you have sat there and are drenched in sweat. Another issue is older relatives who because of health issues often miss the graduation because they aren't physically able to sit in the blistering heat for hours. My mama was unable to attend my younger daughters graduation for this very reason. It is time to rethink this issue and allow common sense to prevail.

Yes!! For the sake of future grads and parents. It was so hot and cruling. Not what you want while taking pictures to cherish for the rest of your life. The heat causes instability and health issues for some older people. Please change this!! :)

And if it rains, have it in the gym, it's just too hot and humid to have it at the football field.

It is time for the students to be able to enjoy their moment, not burn in the Fl sun. Give them a cool place to enjoy their victory along with their family and friends.

Please consider older family members. Many simply can't enjoy this precious moment due to the heat. Having the graduation at night would make it more tolerable for everyone.
