At a time when bigotry and sectarianism and bigotry is reported to be rife in Scotland, we demand that our politicians, church leaders and those in positions of influence tackle this problem fairly and even handedly, not selectively.
We all have heard and read the articles in the press. We have all seen individuals and organisations pursuing questionable agendas that seek to demonise and paint some sections of our society as sectarian bigots whilst blatantly ignoring others who seek to defend their bigotry and sectarianism as representing "political beliefs" or "part of their culture".
Tackle bigotry and sectarianism now - no matter where it hails from!

The petition reached 100 signatures this morning. I am now finalizing a formal letter to local representatives that outlines our demand for a consistent approach to tackling sectarianism.

About time someone said this. Politicians are scared to cross certain groups and it is holding Scotland back.
Stop the division. We are all living here together and its time to treat everyone with the same rules.
Totally agree. Sick of hearing about it being one sided when we know fine well its coming from all angles.
Sick of the double standards. Either tackle it everywhere or stop pretending you care about fixing it at all.
Its not culture if it hurts people. bigotry is bigotry no matter what label you slap on it.

Need real leaders not people looking for votes. Sort it out.
