When you hear Domestic Violence you automatically imagine a WOMAN as the VICTIM. but truth is MEN can be the victim of domestic violence as well. I know this first hand, My son was the victim of domestic violence, and out of love for the woman who beat on him and tried to stab him, and out of shame of admitting that a woman had actually hit him he Never cried out for help. The Woodburn Police knew on the numerous times they were called that my son was the actual victim, They could not deny the scratches on his face and arms, the dried blood, fat lips or black eyes, His co-workers knew what was happening but didnt speak up, Its sad to say that there arent laws that say you need to PROVE abuse before you can go get a restraining order, the woman who abused my son lied numerous times that she was the one being abused, although everytime she called the police there was never a single mark on her, no dried blood, no bruises, but yet she can go to the courts and cry wolf, and trick my son into violating the restraining order, Those of you who ACTUALLY know my son know he is not capable of hitting a woman, even after she went after him with a knife and tried to stab him. NOW my son is portrayed as a monster because her lies he is currently sitting in a prison cell serving out a sentence to a crime he did NOT commit. My son is the VICTIM twice in this. Once for being abused physically and 2 by the failure in the Oregon Judicial System.

I am trying to make a new law that allows men to get a restraining order if they are victims of domestic violence, Thank you for your support
