I am very disappointed with our current board of supervisors and the planning commission. I move to Hanover because the rural area community and not high-density developments. Atlee Station has too much traffic now. Residential growth is not good. We do not have to be like Chesterfield and Henrico.
I like seeing more farm land and less housing developments.

It is very upsetting as a local resident to see this community being picked apart through unnecessary and unwanted congested residential developments. Everyone who lives here loves this place, appreciates it for how it is, and wants to live in a prosperous community, It is now, where open and rural farm lands are welcome, preserved and valued. So many developments are going up lately that It feels is though we are going to become the next Chesterfield or Short Pump. I believe Hanover, and especially this area, is too special to see this happen. Maybe that is not what someone would have you believe. But then I can only assume that they do not truly have their pulse on the community, and do not understand why we enjoy living here so much. Now, the proposal for this new community is sure to bring in The opposite of what we want. The high density per square acre, the proximity of the elementary, middle, and high school. And all the other new, current and planned and approved developments. When will it be that the community is represented? What's the harm in saying no to the over-development of this land.

My concerns echo those already listed in this petition. The data speaks volumes.

The density level alone would cause significant strain on the surrounding areas in a variety of ways. This is not in the best interest of the county or its residents.

I do not agree with adding this neighborhood to our area. ATLEE Station Road is already very congested in rush hour times.

New subdivisions and Apartments/Condos on Atlee Stations Road have not opened and been populated yet. It appears our crime numbers are increasing and encroaching this corridor now. Please collect some data and exercise protection and respect for Hanover County citizens and our families before making decisions for growth.

The increased density will add to the already stressed access to Atlee Station Rd. It is inconceivable that Taylor Farms will have no entry onto Atlee Station Rd other than Honey Meadows Rd. This is going to put additional strains on the already crowded road, especially during the school year.

Enough is enough! I moved into this area because it was not crowded and certainly don't want that to change.

This Taylor Farm development is creating new problems and magnifying existing problems. We were told the Middle School and High School were already at 99 and 98% capacity. The # of car accidents will continue to increase if this neighborhood is allowed to be built under the existing proposal. People are already taking risky chances to get onto At Lee Station Rd from or into their respective neighborhoods during the morning and evening rush hours.

I cannot believe they think this is a good idea. I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY MORE BUILDING SUBDIVISIONS IN THE ATLEE SCHOOL DISTRICT and I do not SUPPORT THIS PROJECT either

I oppose the additional development of this area due to the detrimental effects it will have on the existing area and dangers it proposes.

That area cannot realistically support such a density of housing.
