the blocking of a public pedestrian route by creating an inccesible bridge for all members of the community, is discriminating individuals with mobility disabilities, families with pram/push chair bound children, among the may who find stairs challenging.

In this day & age I find it discrimatory to not make it accessible to everyone. In light of keeping a town & countryside environmentally & economically sustainable polution kept to a minimum etc; I cannot fathom why it was not considered thoroughly. This existed & was known about alongside its complexity, so why is it now suddenly an issue?

Considering its proximity to the new leisure centre it is vital to enable as many people as possible to have access. In addition BR or Railtrack could burnish their PR rather than face criticism or even a legal challenge.

Disabled people and those with restricted mobility should not have to petition for equal access in new build facilities anywhere. Omitting their needs is a failure on a level. Please reconsider this

This Bridge needs to restore the accesibility level that the original public right of way provided, whe it was a street level crossing accross the tracks. Accessibility for Cycle, Wheelchair wheeled mobility vehicles and push chairs and prams. Staired Bridges do not provide that facility level.
