Accessibility should be at the heart of all designs. Prams, bikes, wheelchairs should all have the right to cross.

What is the point of building a bridge to last 125 years using Victorian legislation and not providing for today’s and tomorrow’s requirements with more people switching to active travel we need this to bridge to support access for all users able bodied, and people with disables who wheeled assistance

I love south of the railway line and access is very poor to safely walk to the town centre.

"Access For All" is a basic principle enshrined in the Equality Act 2010. The bridge needs to provide access for all.

What century is this? If that bridge is important enough to build for people who can walk, it's important enough to build for people who can't. That crossing looks pretty important for all. James, Bracknell.

Agreed, we need ramps to be fitted at the same time as the bridges are replaced and not at a later date as this would cause more disruption additional costs and wasted money materials and resources.

It’s incredibly important to provide access for all, both morally and legally. Structures like this are built once every few generations. It’s essential this doesn’t exclude anyone.

Anything to improve people’s mobility and safety, and crucially reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and the release of CO2

The roads and accessibility around the train station is a joke. But spending money on ANY improvements that wouldn't be accessible, is rediculous.

For goodness sake, less able bodied people have a hard enough life as it is, without having to make their lives even harder. Us able bodied citizens of Wokingham don't have to think twice about any journey, but people with mobility issues do, and most of the time, it's bloody difficult for them. Make these bridges accessible for everyone, not just the fortunate majority.

This bridge needs to be accessible, for all residents but particularly those with disabilities, the elderly, those with children

This does appear to go against promoting cycle use.
