Families of law enforcement employees need protection. Their voices need to be heard, never silenced or swept under the rug. They need protection just like communities need it. Please enforce this law, especially so that children may have the assurance that their mother and father will be in their lives.

My heart breaks every time I see this lovely woman's smile. To know she was killed so viciously makes me cry. I'm signing this so hopefully her death won't be in vain.

Part of the problem is also that the women being terrorized are told the abuser will lose his job and she and her children will out on the street.
