All trails for cities should be patrolled including Oshawa

Waterfront Patrol... Civilian Patrol' Local Martial Arts clubs become part of the patrol. Local Soccer and Hockey teams become part of the patrol. Local Seniors groups group patrol... Electric chair people can patrol with their carts . Local Churches and Mosques organize a group patrol.
Patrol members simply walk the path. They are present not enforcement.
Then the Thugs will see there is too much activity to plan an attack.

Everyone has the right to feel safe whether it be at home or in public. DRP needs to step up and do their job which is to serve and protect

Agree, our paths and parks need police presence. Too many times have my walks and runs been compromised by undesirables including their out of control dogs.

All people should be able to enjoy the waterfront trail without fear. If the Police can't provide routine patrols of the area, then at least put in security cameras.

The waterfront trail is not only a local but a national treasure. As more people discover it will inevitably attract the bad and the ugly. It is our responsibility for the good of the many to discourage the bullies, the abusive disrespectful few from disrupting the enjoyment of the waterfront trail. We have a voice, let’s make it be heard loud and clear.
