THIS JUVENILE BALD EAGLE WAS FITTED WITH A TRANSMITTER ON TUESDAY THE 12TH JULY 2011. THE ORGANISATION THAT FITTED THIS HAVE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE. THESE TRANSMITTERS IF FITTED NEED TO BE DONE WHEN THE EAGLET IS AROUND 50-55 DAYS OLD, THIS POOR FEMALE JUVENILE WAS 100 DAYS OLD WAY TO OLD TO DO THIS. WHEN THE EAGLET IS SMALLER THEIR IS NO STRESS AND IT IS JUST PICKED OUT OF THE NEST AND QUICKLY DONE NOT CRYING OR FUSSING, BUT AT THIS AGE THE JUVENILE IS ABOUT AS TALL AS IT'S PARENTS AND IT WAS TRAPPED IN A WIRE NET, TO ALL OF US THAT CARE FOR THESE BABY EAGLES FEEL THAT NO BALD EAGLE DESERVES THIS. THE YOUNG FEMALE JUVENILE HAS CONTINUALLY CRIED OUT AND CONSTANTLY TURNS IT'S HEAD TO TRY TO REMOVE THIS TRANSMITTER, IT IS A VERY SAD SOUND AND SITE. THESE BABY EAGLES HAVE BEEN THROUGH SOME TOUGH TIMES SINCE THEIR BIRTH, SNOW, STORMS, TORNADO'S, THIS FEMALE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS NOW WHEN IT IS TIME FOR HER TO FLY FREE, IF SHE EVER WILL WITH THIS CONTRAPTION ON HER BACK. WE ARE DEMANDING THAT THE TRANSMITTER PLACED ON E2 IN DECORAH, IOWA, BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVE. IT IS AN ATTACK AT THE FREEDOM OF THIS MAJESTIC AND MAGNIFICENT BIRD. WE WILL GO TO OUR PRESIDENT IF WE HAVE TO."  Go to the links on the right and watch the first video of how this family started and then the second link will show what has happened to this beautiful Eagle.
