We, the community of Bay Ridge Brooklyn are demanding that Verizon Wireless remove the cell phone towers it installed on 8701 Ridge Blvd, appoximately 60 feet from PS 185 on eye level with the children's classrooms. Given the growing body of evidence suggesting that so called "safe" levels of emission may cause serious adverse health effects, we are unwilling to allow Verizon and the building owner to take a gamble with our children's health.
