We have the right to be safe...Our parks, rivers, walking trails, need warning signs. Crime lives here. We have nothing if we are infected with this virus of not knowing what to do.....We want our streets back...

I used to appreciate the beauty and outdoors of redding but it's hard to go anywhere without being worried someone is going to try to take advantage of us. Small example, I have been sick from gallbladder problems, when asked to pull over so I could throw up behind a tree there was a needle behind there. Seriously this town needs to be beautiful again.

This is so important. The good citizens feel that we are in jail and the criminals are running free.

We definitely need to change things in the local system. Our town has gone to crop since the crooks are allowed a get out of jail free card and charged with lesser crimes. They need to pick a new city for criminals to be dropped off as well. Take them them to a much larger city than 100,000 people that has better police force to handle the issues. The governor needs to have these guys around his house to see how bad it is for us.

I too agree so strongly with this. Changes must be made immediately. Our state can no longer allow addicts and criminals to take over our communities, as they have since AB109. We don't want to live in fear, hearing our neighbors have been violated, knowing our parks are covered with syringes, our trails are unsafe, illegal transient camps are everywhere and citizens are cleaning them up, law enforcements hands are tied as their arrests are released by the jails and so on. It must stop and as our state's leader it all falls on you Governor Brown.

I agree . We need to take back our small town life. Had to leave Cottonwood where I grew up and my kids grew up because the drugs and druggies are so bad. I sure hope everyone votes against this new bill in November. Our small towns will just get worse.

Governor Brown, I don't know what happened to you over the years. You used to be a man with some integrity. You have taken California from a state that when people looked at us and said "As California goes, so goes the nation" and we felt pride. NO MORE! California now is the shame of the country, right after Chicago. You've allowed the free spending liberal agenda to create sanctuary cities, and lawlessness rules in the state. We have heroin and other addicts in every town strewn about the streets like trash, pedophiles and rapists in our parks, thieves roaming the stores , and all of them knowing they will never be prosecuted, because crimes are no more! Homelessness is increasing daily, and kids sleeping by dumpsters. YOUR ANSWER? Decriminalize crime and think the people are so ignorant we won't notice the assaults, deaths caused by drugs and alcohol on our communities, illegals flowing freely into our state and taking the jobs of citizens. We won't notice the businesses leaving because of the high minded ideals you espouse for the environment, that only the celebrities can afford.
WE NOTICE GOVERNOR... YOU ARE LIKE THE EMPEROR WITH NO CLOTHES!! California is in ruins, and it is TIME TO WAKE UP and STOP MOLESTING AND ROBBING YOUR CITIZENS WITH YOUR POLICIES!! <<<<
