The messages I keep getting from people who have gone through this are just heavy and I really hope H.R. 3642 gets the attention it actually deserves because the silence from the people in charge is genuinely frustrating. I am digging through some research on the next steps for moving this forward and honestly it is a lot to take in but I am not stopping.

I keep refreshing the page and my heart just does a little flutter every single time because the momentum is finally feeling real. It is honestly overwhelming to see so many people caring about this at the same time and I think we might actually be on to something big here.

As a survivor of sexual assault, I am on favor of all measures taken to help others who have gone through this horrific experience.
WE NEED CHANGE
This hits close to home for me. We need way more protection for people who get attacked and the justice system is totally failing us.
