All small family businesses are suffering because of radical stupidity. Many activists are not from Australia any way,we have a gutless government system that allows this to happen.!

I wonder how many activists that want me to lose my job are actually unemployed and receiving benefits from the taxes that I pay?

Isnt it amazing that those opposing mines from opening have benfited from taxes more than the community centres that directly support the mine operations. Multi lane freeways in out and out of Brisbane havent been built on taxes from the south east corner??

The mining industry is the back bone of this country and has been for many years. It not only employs thousands of families , it has help create and support many large and small businesses that help build our economy and country. My business is just one of those that gives its full support to the companies and people that work in the mining industry.

I support the project. It will create jobs here and give india clean coal and millions a better standard of living. It is a win for Australia and India and will not harm the GBRMP.

Everything we take for granted in the western world is delivered to us by mining - roofing materials, cars, TV's, smartphones, electricity, fridges, solar panels, batteries for storing solar energy etc
Poorer nations aspire to have what we have and lift themselves out of poverty, to do so they will need to use their natural resources especially to meet global population growths demand.

Had enough of the hand wringing and melodrama. Who is to say the backers of the greens are not direct competitors of our mining and gas companies?
