Why not re-open or expand some existing Bowen Basin mines right now, tommorrow to produce the coal that India reckons they need, and the jobs that have previously been ripped out of the region.. Carmichael/GVK/ChinaFirst are years away from production even if construction started tommorrow Further, every mug except the QRC, Tony Abbott and George Christensen know the economics don't stack up.
