We are disgusted that our national economy can be held to ransom by people who do not work and are being paid by donations, when there are many hard working people who have no say and feel that the Governments of both Qld and Australia are not listening.

i ask the activists from mackay what there plan is for jobs? I can tell you they have nothing? I then ask them to go home and turn off their power? Because that is what millions in India are living like.

The Adani project is not mining on the reef but mining more than 380km inland from the Queensland Coast and exporting through an existing coal terminal that has been successfully operating at Abbot Point for over ten years. There are no environmental impacts that cannot be managed by both industry and the developer working collaboratively for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Proposed Carmichael Coal Mine project is the largest coal mine project in the world. With current situation (recession) in Australia, this project is really pleasure to the country in terms of revunue and employement. Offcourse there will be some challeges in the project but easy solutions can be found out with mutual discussions rather than denying approval with legal loopholes.
I strongly support this project and it should start soon.

The Carmichael Coal project will invest significant money in jobs in infrastructure projects for Queensland. While everyone agrees it must and will be conducted under stict environmental controls the responsable development of Queensland's coal resource should be supported for the economic benfit of the regions, the state and the nation.

To whom it may concern;
The Australian Government is responsible to ensure a sustainable future for all Australians. Responsible mining forms a fundamental part of the economic prosperity of this nation. Exploitation of legal loopholes that work against achieving a sustainable future for all Australians is, at best, short-sighted.
I emplore this Government to take action to rectify policy and legal loopholes to ensure the best interests of all Australians are maintained now, and into the future.
Kind regards
