I think that community consultation with proposed changes are a good thing, which is where activists issues should be voiced and problems dealt with. The problem with the current system is that those who are not directly involved can interrupt the process, which is why the system is so broadly open to abuse. Enough is enough!

We need these projects and associated jobs. We need to stand up to the greens and extreme greenies who all benefit from the mining sector and get this country moving again

This interference by these pantheist zealots must stop. In one way or another they want to treasonously destroy our nation and for no apparent reason other than boredom and mischief.

As an advanced society, why do we tolerate adverse impact on our national political risk profile due to petty bureaucracy?

I applaud this initiative from the Queensland Resources Council. For too long we have been captive of the Greens movement holding what they perceive to be the high ground while many of us lose our jobs. There is a case to be be made for coexistence and rational reasoned arguments and I wholeheartedly agree that its time mining bashing stopped

They're not activists! They're obstructionists! Their recent tactics do nothing to protect the environment. The World's poor people need affordable energy. If that energy source isn't mined in a sustainable way here in Australia it will be mined in a considerably less sustainable way somewhere else.

The Greens will do anything to stop any form of industry, Where do they think the new jobs and growth will come from?

These activists should be ashamed they are ruining lives.

The Greens have stated that using loop holes is a tactic to obstruct. They have therefore admitted it is not about the environment at all. The loopholes must be closed.

I live in Mackay and the city is slowly dying due to the downturn and new projects being blocked by the greens
