There certainly has to be a balance, but unfortunately the balance is tipped to far to towards minority groups, many of whom don't realise without projects like this they would be living in poverty in this Country. Good to see someone standing up for the silent Majority in this Land who are ridiculed by our media for speaking up against the very Groups who are trying to drive us all to this state of poverty.

There are many Australian Families dependent on jobs and there is no reason why we can not sustainably develop this resource with out any permanent effect to our environment, the Government needs to stand up and support the people they represent by providing them the opportunity to earn a living so as to provide for there families.

It is high time the stakeholders including the government realise that Queensland's and Australia's long term economy can be sustainable by injecting long term investments and proactively supporting long term resource and infrastructure development, not by voter-appeasing policies/announcements which are fundamentally short-term and add to government's deficit.
