As a small manufacturer supplying to the mines , I feel, the only reason Australia got through the last GFC was because of the mining industry.

Its about time folks appreciated mineral resources belong to the entire community. Blocking access for irrelevant reasons ignores the fact Australia loses out more in terms of royalty, tax and employment than any resources company. The Carmichael backflip is a massive own goal!
