We as parents of pupils in Laerskool Taalfees agree that it is ridiculous of the school to expect our children to where expensive blazers from Gr.1. This petition is to say that we prefer the windbreaker as the neater option, but willing to buy the tracksuit if children are allowed to wear them in winter and on cold days.

Dit sal my baie help . My seuntjie is in Gr 2 en om nou 'n skoolbaadjie te koop is regtig geld mors hulle groei baie vinnig . Ek stem 100% vir die mooi Dri-Mac baadjies dit gaan ons kinders warm hou en dis meer bekostigbaar; veral vir al die enkel ouers daar buite. Groete, Madelein
Ek wil graag n versoek aan die skool en beheerliggaam doen om hul keuse aangaande die blazer te heroorweeg ek het 2 kinders die een is nou wel nog voorskool by taalfees maar om n blazer aan te skaf vir die kleintjies is veregaande dit raak weg word nie opgepas nie en hul groei hopeloos te vinnig Groete YOLANDI

Good Day to whom it may concern. I have a huge problem regarding the current school wear for the Taalfees Kids, I have three daughters in the school Gr R next Year Gr1, Gr2 and Gr4. Previously the school had thick warm windbreakers, which made a big difference and was later taken away. (Why me as Parent still don’t know why?????) I then got them green drymac jackets which was also not being allowed in the school. Apparently, only jerseys and Blazers is being allowed on which I don’t agree with at all, and I’m only one of a few parents feeling this way. Our days to be exact 15.05.2017 is freezing cold and my question is what WARM clothes does the kids have in comparison to what the teachers wear. I urge and challenge anyone to go have a study and you will see that teachers have got jerseys, Jackets, Windbreakers Etc.…… Secondly except for blazers not being warm it is to expensive for what it’s worth, I would rather spend that kind of money on a decent tracksuit and the windbreakers the school used to have 2 years back for all three of my kids.
