Nashville Building Codes Enforcement

I dont think asking forgiveness after the fact and having to pay a small fine should be the accepted business practice any longer here. The fines are a drop in the bucket compared to the profits from sales of a larger building. Codes should be enforced to the letter period or there should be a license suspension for repeat offenders.

The building of new homes has reached overbuilding everywhere in Sylvan Park, Charlotte Park and the Nations. Tearing one or two houses down and building two to five houses in their place has created traffic problems, more traffic accidents and more break-ins. The latter may. E attributed to the nee people as targets and not necessarily the people moving in, but it has become a major problem. Please stop the rapid building of these homes in these areas that has now become over-building in our area.

Please enforce our codes.

I hate seeing all these big homes going up in our quaint neighborhood. It's nice they want to build something new, but keep it within the charm of our homes!

Please enforce our laws.

Codes for years has laws and req's they are unable or inept in requalating. Doesnt make sense. Some folks know how to manipulate the system knowing they can have their way with none to minimum penalty.

Please stop with the way the construction is going & ruining what once was th Nashville Way. Build like you live here.

Tired of these monster homes on small lots! Really? The builders are simply paying fines?

There are overbuilds all over Sylvan Park and it has to stop.

3604 Pilcher Avenue has been in violation for nearly the entire duration of the nearly two and a half years this monstrosity has been under construction. Please investigate this heinous codes violation as well. The property owner claims to be a pastor, & has told a now former neighbor that this will be, and I quote, " a church Conference Center. " Not next to my home of nearly a quarter-century !!!!! Respectfully, Wayne Neal and OrEO Remeny
