I think it is nfair to the students to have the graduation in the afternoon. It is unreasonable to think spect parents to miss the graduation due to work or expecting them to give up work in order to attend the graduation. In this day and age giving up a salary to attend a graduation is nacceptable.

Graduation should not booked on the day when other school grads are occurring. Keep the original day!

Graduation is supposed to be the biggest day of every students life...It is an event that every single one of those students have worked for over the previous 13 years, not to mention the proud moment it brings to all family members of those same young adults. Everyone deserves to be recognized for all of their hard work they have put in!!

I think its time for deveaux to remember who stood beside and supported the teachers during their strike if he cant I think its time to retire him, because he isn't teaching our kids integrity

The grads should be able to have their graduation on the 28 th like it was originally planned. Graduation is one of the most important milestones in a child's life and it has already been disrupted so many times. Teachers and principals wanted us all to take a stand for them and we did. Now it's time for them to set aside their issues and stand up for these kids and stop making it difficult.

As a former student I'm sadended to see the students suffering and maybe even miss out oh their graduation over a day. Suck it up and do what's right move graduation back to the 28th.

Leave the date at the 28th. If the teacher's won't participate Perhaps private security along with a few police officer's may donate their time. There has to be a way to make the student's graduation special! Hope this all work's out for the student's.

This is suppose to be the best and most wonderful year of their lives. Stop stressing out all the kids and parents. One day earlier is really not going to make a difference. The teachers asked parents to stand beside them while they did their one day strike so the least they can do is the same for these kids.

I wiukd like to see the date be the 28th for no other reason than the fact that there are children who will miss the opportunity to walk accross that stage and receive thier first earned diploma! Graduation is a big thing I know things were different when a lot of us graduated but we had a grad week, sleepover in the gym, grad trip to baddeck to sail the Amoeba, decorating for prom, pancake breakfast then of course prom amd graduation. All of our children in all schools have been affected by the strike! You remember your grad year for the reat of your life however I feel our grads just want to forget it at this point because this year has not been an enjoyable one for them! Please let us have the date change!

Every parent deserves to proudly watch (all of) their children celebrate what they have accomplished over their 13 years of schooling. Every student deserves the recognition, experience and memories that go along with graduation, prom and safe grad.

The students all work very hard even with the work contracts Don't let such pety stuff get in the way of one of the hardest parts in life to accomplish and to be the first of all firsts . Give them the date they want and certainly deserve. Previous student from Sydney Academy.
