We urge the Sierra Lakes County Water District to reconsider ordinance 36.12 (Division XXXVI), which prohibits swimming in Lake Serena unless, after scientific study, it is proven that swimming would damage water quality to the extent that it would be unsafe to drink.

Yes. There's no good reason not to allow swimming at both ends of the same body of water.
