I know people in this town who have requested a skatepark in this town for over ten years an it still has not happened. The city has even raised money to build ...one. According to anonymous sources people in charge of the funds are debating on building a water park or a skate park with the funds. There is a city ordinance in this town saying you can not ride your bike, scooter. skateboard, etc on any road or public sidewalk or any place of business. This seems a little unfair and discriminating to members of the community who like to participate in those kinds of activities because there is no designated area (skate park) for them to do them at. The ordinance would be more probable if there was a place for these activities to be legally. The town already has a pool, basketball courts, football fields, baseball fields and so on. Why cant it have a skate park as well?
