I would be an immediate customer, if this bike had EFI, 6 speed, and AB brakes. This would eclipse the competitive edge that Kawasaki has on the DR in its KLR 650 design. Air-cooled engine platforms are still viable in today’s world.

I have a 2006 DR650SE that I bought straight out of the crate in Nov of that year. 68000 miles and 17 years later I still enjoy riding it. It would be nice if it had ABS, EFI, better lighting and upgraded suspension.
