I wholeheartedly support the upgrading of the DR 650. I find it inexcusable that Suzuki would let one of the most beloved motorcycles in the world essentially unimproved in nearly 30 years of technological advancements. And while you’re at it, update the other most favorite Suzuki motorcycle, the DRZ 400!

Keep the update very minimum but give us EFI, upgraded suspension including inverted forks, much larger fuel tank, color TFT gauge cluster, LED headlight/taillight and blinkers, rally front end (1/4 fairing-windshield) along with newly designed plastic's, totally new exhaust, update the air box and probably some other small but very need upgrades. Keep the bike light. If you want to get the motor running a lot better there at the factory and sell it to us as an upgrade. Most probably will buy that if it's priced right. If we could get Stage 1, 2 and 3 motor kits put on at the factory and warrantied like Harley Davidson does with Screaming Eagle... That would be something special. I would set the stage 1 up like this. Stage 1 will be the hottest of the 3 Larger high compression Piston, stroker crank, big cam, bigger valves, full race exhaust *Gets a RM450 warranty on the motor and everything else is Suzuki standard warranty for the bike. Stage 2 stock size piston, stroker crank, larger cam, a little larger valves?, Nice slip on exhaust. Motor has full factory warranty Stage 3 Stock! Full factory warranty.

Change from carbureted to EFI only. Possible larger fuel tank, all other OK as is! Great Bike!
