These motorcycles are very durable and multi purpose, I’d buy one new if I could.

We need to keep the old platform around it just needs a little updating (don’t go crazy) maybe a tach and updated forks and efi and abs no traction control

Keep it "as is" simple if legally possible. If not, add fuel injection, 6-speed, ABS, upgraded suspension, etc., without increasing much weight, cost, or complexity. All while maintaining air-cooled and reliability.

Just purchased a 2023 CRF300L Rally. Would have preferred a larger displacement, lower seat height bike such as the DR 650 or 400, but was not going to purchase old styling and tech new.

Please consider updating the dr650 I’ve had mine for many years and love consider fuel injection,a slightly larger fuel tank and a decent headlight!
