No, no, no, no! Do not ask for fuel injection or abs. The governments that ban it because it isn't green enough are shooting them in the foot. If abs and fi are so important to you then get a klr. I do wish it had a 6 speed, and maybe an 18" rear, but if you guys get everything you ask for, then it won't be a simple dr any longer, it'll be a klr or t-7 or transalp. Too heavy, too complicated, too expensive.

I have a 2011 DR650 and would love to retire it for another, my favourite bike of all time, love it more than my one year old Street Glide…please update to a modern (affordable) bike, keep the low seat height, light weight, and on/off road capability…and bring it to Canada. Thank you!

I've done 65k-km on my 2015 with no issues at all. There's no other bike that I could possibly want!

I love my self-upgraded DR650, but it won’t last forever. It needs EFI (I installed an expensive pumper carb), to help with high altitudes. Other items I’ve upgraded are suspension, exhaust system, fuel tank, windshield, instruments, luggage racks and seat. Having these things on a factory built bike would be great. However, take weight out, don’t add it!
