Will buy either the DRZ 400 or this. First to update gets the sale. 6 speed transmission, fuel injection, updated dashboard and ABS are a must. My money will stay in the bank until Suzuki or Kawasaki make a move in the right direction.

Hello, please update your Suzuki DR650 with Fuel Injection and ABS. The bike has a cult following and if you'd like to keep it that way, it would be in your best interest to make these updates and squash your competitors....

The dr 650 is the best DualSport motorcycle.
Please update it so people in all countries can enjoy the bike.
I own 2 Dr650’s. Just put on abs and fuel injection. Leave the rest alone.
I love my DR.

As per other comments, a bit lighter and a lower seat height (you can always go up, but not so easy the other way)

Convert to fuel injection, add another gear. Offer rally type luggage and updated electronic instrumentation.
