For years residents of Suwanee Lakes have asked for help from our Police Department to protect our kids from speeding and reckless drivers.

Several of us have asked for speed control devices or speed bumps to be installed but we do not meet the speed requirements. We have asked numerous times for traffic enforcement but our streets are not approved for radar or laser traffic enforcement.

We have followed the rules but the results never meet Gwinnett County requirements.

On 3/13/2016 we have had a 3rd incident where a driver has flipped a car over in to home and power box. What does it take for Gwinnett County to do something to protect our kids?

We want a permanent solution, not a 30 day increase in police presence. We are asking for Speed Control devices to be installed throughout the neighborhood.
