we actually did it and the university is letting students move off campus next year. im honestly so hyped that we stuck together and got this result. keep an eye on your emails for the housing details coming out soon.

As a Susquehanna alum, I am outraged by this university decision. Much of what I know about life after college was learned when I moved off-campus. I was still a part of the fabric of the school community. I was still a writer for The Crusader, was active in multiple clubs, and played rugby. Not allowing students the right to choose is a giant mistake.
I am a commuter and one of the reasons is becuase I save about $6,000 a year. The school is already extremely expensive, there is no need to do this.
I came to this school under the impression that I would be able to get off campus my sophomore year, now I'm gonna be a senior and still have to live on campus. This is absurd and completely ridiculous that I will be 22 and have someone be able to write me up
The administration made one of the worst decisions for this school. The retention rate is going to go through the roof. Also, some students cannot afford to live on campus. It's a shame that our school doesn't care about the body holding the school together.
I came here with the intention to eventually have a CHOICE to live off campus. Then there was an OPTION. Living off campus gets us ready for our future for the real world and you are holding us back from that. Isn't that one of Susquehanna's main goal? to get us ready for our future?
This is rediculous! Because of the stupid lottery, Seniors can't even choose where they want to live.
this place is a joke. no wonder you can't keep anyone at the school. I would love to know who is running this institution.

First they raise tuition again, now this? SU is killing what little social life we have on the weekends as well as preventing students from gaining the soft skills necessary to live independently after graduation. The buck stops here. Want to keep having a lousy retention rate? This is how you do it.
