This is rediculous! Because of the stupid lottery, Seniors can't even choose where they want to live.

this place is a joke. no wonder you can't keep anyone at the school. I would love to know who is running this institution.

Living off campus was a great college experience. I found the transition to adult life to be seamless.

This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Stop being so greedy and let students have the ability to have some kind of social life. We are in the middle of no where with basically nothing to do in "town". There has to be some middle ground people. And the middle ground is LET US LIVE OFF CAMPUS.

Living off campus was a valuable experience for me in my transition from childhood to adulthood.

As a Susquehanna alum, I am outraged by this university decision. Much of what I know about life after college was learned when I moved off-campus. I was still a part of the fabric of the school community. I was still a writer for The Crusader, was active in multiple clubs, and played rugby. Not allowing students the right to choose is a giant mistake.

If the students as a whole want there to be an off campus alternative then that should be allowed to them. What happened to SU moving forward. This feels like a step back.

Is it really worse to have vacant on-campus dorm rooms than to have a public backlash? How will this affect our recruitment rates in the future? Susquehanna has turned into a campus where you HAVE to spend money (either on the expensive tuition, an overpriced meal plan, a mandatory study abroad program, and now, mandatory room & board fee). Why has my scholarship not increased proportionally to all these elevated costs?

Please don't ruin our senior year, we've earned our off-campus housing.

Going to college is about many things, but getting to live independently with a safety net is a large part of college experience. The opportunity to live independently is something that all students should get the chance to do if they so desire. It shouldn't be up to the school, who is already getting tens of thousands of dollars, to dictate where someone has to live. Not only is tuition going up but now Susquehanna is taking away our liberties. Enough is enough and if this school wants to keep students around it is going to have to stop taking away the outside the school social atmosphere.

Let it happen. So what if people live off campus? By the time you're a senior, it's time to start to see what it is like to live on your own an pay rent.

Students should have the choice to live off campus. Its not fair to limit students like this. It makes going here less appealing.

I am a commuter and one of the reasons is becuase I save about $6,000 a year. The school is already extremely expensive, there is no need to do this.
