Surfside Beach Chair Ordinance - Surf Club Community Petition

The current situation that exists is unfair to the staff that works there. Be more respectful of your workers and at the same time do not inconvenience your taxpayers

I believe the current ordnance to be both unfair and unreasonable.

This proposal is an outrage

Please Consider letting the Surf Club

please remove the limitation of beach chairs.

remove the limitations on surf club beach seating and allow the staff the proper operations for setting up beach operations.

Your rule on chairs on the beach causes us a lot of extra expenses and complications at the SurfClub .

This is a no brainer. We want to maintain the property value and drive incremental revenue for the town. Makes no sense. We’ve been dancing around this issue for 2 years, why is this issue even being revisited???

The current regulations aren’t onerous for the people working on the beach

I pay very high taxes to Surfside. I should be able to use the beach without the unfair restrictions on beach chairs for my building.

I live at the Surfclub. It is unfair that we are restricted to so few chairs on the beach. I pay high taxes for my apartment in Surfside and I should be able to take my family to the beach in back of my residence. I Support the new beach chair ordinance .

The staff can't stand the situation anymore. Is unhuman how they carry the chairs under de sun.

I think it is wholly inappropriate for the Surf Club to be so restricted in access to beach chairs. This should be remedied going forward.
