A petition in support of Worcester Dominies & Guild Cricket Club's appeal against their points deduction and impending relegation for the Division 1 of the Worcestershire County League. The league have deemed WDGCC ground & facilities 'too small' for their competition and have deducted the club's first team 200 points which will see them relegated from the top flight, in which they have more than held their own in their first season - without the deductions the club will have finished a solid a mid-table.
The facilities are of adequate size and the decision is completely unjustified.
Please add you signature to this petition, not only to support WDGCC in their appeal but save a club from not being able to participate at the level they and their future players deserve. The consequences of not playing in the top division could severely impact the local community and youth structure of such a club.
Save cricket from bias, snobbery and elitism - this could be YOUR CLUB.
