On 28th November 2006, Ghanaian applicant John Seyram Dzandza recieved his visa decision from the British High Commission in Ghana. The British High Commission refused the applicant a 4 week holiday visa to the UK. The grounds for the decision were entirely unsatisfactory and appropriate weight was not afforded to the documentation that accompanied the application. John Dzandza provided evidence of the following documents to the British High Commission: -2 documents from the University of Accra, Ghana, showing proof of the applicants attendance at the University and stating their support for the applicant -a letter of support from the applicant\'s employer in Ghana, Gap Sports Abroad, stating that John Dzandza would be given 1 month leave to travel to the UK, and mentioning why it would be beneficial to the company for their employee to attain experience of another culture -a letter from the applicants UK sponsor,a University Professor, who the applicant who live with for the entireity of his stay in the UK. The letter acknowledged that the UK sponsor would commit to meeting all the applicant\'s expenses -a letter from applicant\'s brother lending his support to the applicant and financial backing -the applicant\'s financial means in the form of a bank statement, showing funds that would be available for the trip in the region of
