Hello there,
My name is Kofi, I recently came back from Chile where I had spent a total of 3yrs, had some good times and some not so good times so my wife and I decided that it would be better for us to make plans to return to the UK. We have been together for nearly 6 years and have been married for almost 3, we have 3 daughters together all of whom are under the age of 6 and all of whom have UK citizenship.
I returned in August of this year ahead of my family as the idea was to set up home and send for Them, I came back and within 2wks of being back I was working, albeit part time I was working. I saved money and paid for the visa application at a cost of £550.00 (non refundable). The first application was rejected so we set about improving the application for an appeal, after amending the situation and strengthening or application which we did well within the 28day window, We sent an appeal and as yet no formal decision has been made even though I had to contact them and ask for updates, but yet they have sent the appeal to a tribunal hearing in London and it will be a time of 60 days even before a date for the hearing is set.
My argument is that as my wife should not be prevented from entering the UK, not as far as all 3 of her daughters and her husband are British she should be, by law of common sense and reason, be granted the right to enter.
I am not asking for donations, all I am asking is that you sign this in support of me.
I spent the entire morning staring at the pile of paperwork for the tribunal and honestly it just all looks like nonsense when you realize my kids are sitting right here needing their mother. The legal side is moving so slowly but knowing people are actually reading our story keeps me from completely losing my mind while I wait for a date.

My heart goes out to you kofi. Nobody should be separated from their wife for this long over paperwork.

The system is completely broken. Why make these people jump through hoops for months and months? Just let her in.

So unfair. Three kids waiting for their mum and a husband waiting for his wife. Get it sorted now.

Ridiculous. My tax money shouldnt be used to keep a father away from his children. Let them be a family.

This is just wrong. Families belong together and the rules here make no sense when the kids are citizens. Let her come home!
