The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond my initial expectations. It is encouraging to see so many people recognize that a lifetime ban does not reflect the standard of justice seen in other professional sports.

He deserves a second chance.
Give him a break. Everyone makes mistakes when emotions are running high. 9 months is enough.
A lifetime ban is absolutely mental for that. The guy has done so much for the sport over the years.
Lifetime is way too harsh. Let the man back on the pitch.
Total joke. Cantona got 9 months so why is Trevor getting life? Double standards.

So unfair! He gave his heart and soul to rugby and now they treat him like a criminal. Reduce the ban now!
