This topic shouldn't even be up for discussion. Why are we even having this issue in a country that is predominantly black? Let's fight self-hate. From educators to the minds of our youth. African is equally as beautiful as European. Get with the programme and learn to love what you were born with and stop knocking others. #supportthepuff booboo

This shouldn't even be a petition at all. We are a black country, filled with black people. It's time to unlearn the toxic beauty standards of the colonizer.

We are a black nation! WE NEED TO EMBRACE WHAT MAKES US BLACK!!! Natural hair that is grown out should not be taboo. It should not be banned, questioned or discriminated.

As a Bahamian young woman now studying in Canada, I must say I am deeply saddened that my people seem to be ashamed of who they truly are! It took me coming over here to embrace my coils because alot of Bahamians dont understand the beauty of own natural hair! This judgement pushes young girls to where everything else except what comes out of their scalp, to be considered beautiful. My blog www.dillytreelounge.com speaks about this very issue! However, I am glad to see the natural hair movement has started in my beautiful country. Its about time. I support this movement fully! #Supportthepuff

Love your self the way God in his wisdom has created you. And let's teach our young girls to take pride in themselves in their natural form.

I believe that woman should not be ashamed of their natural beauty and Afros are so beautiful. I condemn the decisions of this principal. Free the puff!
