I am all for black learning to love and appreciate their hair. I support teach the woman (young and old) to appreciate and embrace their natural hair.

We should not be ashamed to wear our hair the way it was given to us by God.

Yes, I support the puff and any other natural hairstyles. It's the hair that grows from our scalp, it has to be beautiful.

As a mother of a daughter with natural hair who went through this same craziness last year with this same principal, I sign this petition in support of this initiative. I will not allow anyone to ruin my child's self esteem. This principal needs to be removed!!!

I'm 30 and I still wear a puff! I've been an entrepreneur since I was 20 and my natural hair has never stopped me from achieving! I'm a jewelry designer and photographer, and the list goes on... I support the puff!

I wholeheartedly support the puff. My hair is kinky in the best way possible. And you people (that won't let these girls wear their hair down in the most healthiest state it can possibly be in) should be ashamed of yourselves.

Prejudice against our natural hair type has to stop! Its fine to promote good grooming and to prepare our youth for the working world but teach them to love themselves and work with what they have and not covet another races hair texture. I recommend every black person read Hair Story by Ayana D. Byrd & Lori L. Tharps.

Enough of the mental slavery tactics. Encourage our children not discourage and humiliate. Natural is not only beautiful but it is also healthy.
