We should not be ashamed of the hair God gave us. I am 66 years old and finally I accepted wearing mine natural after decade of using straighteners that only destroy your hair and possibly cause serious illness. Kinky hair is sexy!

My hair is natural and beautiful. I am born with kinky thick hair. How does that effect my education or distract others from learning. This is 2016 people. And in a culture like the Bahamas where our African blood runs through our veins, you would think that a Black Woman Principal would understand this. This is ridiculous.

I have been natural for more than 21 years. It is a definite struggle in The Bahamas as they are as a people more British than African. Get over it. Time for self appreciation of who we are. Prejudice need to stop....

I have been wearing my hair natural most of my life. Tried perming but it never stayed in and my scalp was sensitive as well. 10 years now with no attempt to perm. I support the puff!!
