I was born with curly hair and my aunt straightened my hair from the age of 11 years to 22 years. At that point I stopped and have never regretted or looked back. I am now 74 years old and still have curly hair.

Signing because no-one should be SUSPENDED for their hairstyle! If that were to happen, Hermione Granger would have been. My hair is unruly and curly too, and I like it that way and it should not be dictated by a School! Natural hair for Africans should be allowed and encouraged, not punished!!!
