I am a woman protesting all women have the right to wear their hair natural without being ostracized for being who they are. What a shame you are pressuring all people to look like you. That's not how the world works. I am of Native American Indian, Norwegian, Irish, and German descent, and if I had naturally curly hair, I would expect to be treated the same as everyone else, regardless of race, gender, and physical attributes.

I live in the USA and love my naturally curly hair. How can a school tell the parents how their child should wear their hair??? RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Everyone should have the right to do what they want with their hair. Yes in some situations, having hair securely out the way is important - operating power tools, doing food prep etc - but unless your hairstyle poses a threat to the health and safety of yourself or others - express yourself and wear your hair any way you please.

What does the hair on the OUTSIDE of her head have to do with what's on the INSIDE. Surely it does not stop her from learning. Maybe the administrator should wear their hair natural so their brain will start to function. Life is hard enough without some nutjob being stupid about hair.

Doing this because my son who is seven and has a natural afro which is beautiful was also discriminated against when his teacher refused too take a picture of him with the rest of his class making him feel as if he was ugly yet he was the most handsome child in the class this is not only happening too female's but male's as well i love his natural look & if his school must judge him then he deserve's to be in a school that will accept him as he is for i will not change who he is for no one...#supportThePuff

It's ridiculous to know that we are still being discriminated against for the hair that grows out of our scalp. We need to start embracing our young girls for their beautiful Afro and curls .
