The most intelligent and beautiful student is one who rejoices in her natural attributes. Stop forcing white colonizers' values into students who choose to celebrate the beauty of natural hair. They have lessons to teach their teachers in what is truly beautiful.

A good friend told me if I wear my hair in locks it would be unprofessional. She wears a wig in between getting her hair done. Pitiful...we are some of our worst critics.

Bahamas; a Black island can't see beauty within themselves. Self hate and bigotry within their own race. What a shame.

I'm not going to write a long paragraph, but natural hair is beautiful and should not be discriminated against

Keep your head up. High school fashion police will never keep you down. You're beautiful and deserve an undisrupted education. <3 Much love from Canada!

I support women wearing their hair any way that makes them feel more beautiful and confident. However I do not support anyone telling someone, particularly a young girl that her hair is ugly or untidy just because its in its natural state. I #supportthepuff

My question still stand, how on earth does hair affect the education system?

The principal is an under educated, judgemental, rigid, horrible excuse of a woman. She's jealous. The parents should remove their daughter from this school.

What would a queen be doing without her crown our natral hair that grows out our heads is beautiful the same as the trees growing out of the ground we admire the trees just like they admire their christmas tree. Ladies that is your natural organic self that is beautiful and we are proud. We will never go back to the unnatural.

What, exactly is the point of an education system that suspends students for extremely illogical reasons? Hair is never something you should suspend over, ESPECIALLY not natural hair.
