Stay strong in your beliefs, especially when you're doing nothing wrong. There should be a series of code of ethics training in ethnicity since seems to be a topic for ostracizing our youth. Let those doing the suspending talk to youngsters about how they themselves feel about their hair . I'm sure that if a black majority decided that long blond hair was a distraction, a cnn rally across the nation would break out and one question that would come to mind is whose the clown needing the evaluating or whose ethical boundaries have been crossed. Let these clueless closet racist be force to style these hair types for a week in a salon because to be fair one hour nor a day will make them realize the struggle is real and women are allowed to express their big coiled curls the way in which they are comfortable. Proving to lesser intelligent minds in the forefront of the rally such as this, we should be encourageing building confidence in our children by they way the feel about themselves from head to toe.. Last time i went to school education was supposed to be the primary and only focus in school. This is proof that haters will find a way to hate but it should also not be allowed to be used negatively towards young children, especially teens who are already trying to fight their way through adolescence in an attempt to finding themselves.

It is a shame when we cannot be our "natural" selves. Why is there a need for black women to conform to what is perceived to be beautiful? Why can we not just be beautiful the way our creator made us? If a White, Asian, Hispanic or whatever women can get up in the morning, comb their hair, and walk out of the door withOUT putting chemicals in their hair, then, why must blacks fry their scalps or put harmful chemical into their bodies --just to be acceptable to others?!?

Natural hair on a black woman is the most beautiful. Additionally, she will learn to style it to look professionally acceptable, but only if her hair is natural to be able to learn. Use this as an educational opportunity to show the girls it is possible to have natural hair, but they must take care of it.
